  • Support for environmental stewardship

We are a non-profit organization governed by a volunteer board of directors from a variety of sectors in the marine industry. We're the driving force behind the province's premier boating event, the Vancouver International Boat Show. Our nearly 250 members represent all aspects of the marine industry, from small owner/operator businesses to large multinational corporations.

Bluewater Cruising Association

Bluewater Cruising Association, with Chapters in Vancouver, Calgary and Vancouver Island, is home base for avid offshore sailors and local cruisers in the Pacific Northwest. As men and women who plan to voyage to or from foreign ports, or simply explore home waters, we have been actively fostering seamanship and friendship since 1978. Our 900 members share a passion for cruising, learning and being part of a sailing ‘family’. BCA boats sail all over the world, while local boats meet regularly for educational and social activities that prepare them for bluewater sailing. Join us today; your offshore adventure starts here!
