When Things Go Wrong

Before we leave the dock we can carry out all measures to prevent emergencies from happening. However, things can still go wrong when we are out on the water. These situations could be just a mere inconvenience to us or possibly lead to loss of vessel or even life. How we are prepared and our reaction to these situations is critical to rendering a positive outcome. Ken and Carol will share their experiences which led them to develop the processes to react more effectively in these stressful situations.

Ken and Carol live and conduct sail training adventures on their custom designed/built aluminum cutter, Voyageur 10.10. Combined, they have logged over 100,000 miles. During the past 16 years they have presented hundreds of seminars on boating related topics. These seminars encourage would-be cruisers to pursue their cruising goals. First-hand experience and practical approach help you take your cruising goals from a “dream” to “reality”. Their “Safety-first” mind set will steer you away from some of the more common pitfalls. You, too, can enjoy safe and memorable cruising adventures on the high seas! You can check out their adventures and sailing courses at www.voyageursailing.com or Facebook “Voyageur Sailing”.
